As of January 24, 2009, Center of Light Christian Ministries have been using the old Moncado Church. We are not a cult sect, but we are Born Again Christians, gathering to worship only and lift up the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and nothing else. Praise God for all the hard work of the members of Hawaii Moncadistas. Without their sweats and hard work, we would not benefit from them today. We thank God everyday for allowing us to use this facility. Indeed, Hawaii’s Center of Light Church is growing strong in faith as well as in numbers from different nationality and probably the largest as mentioned. We have been using the church for almost 3 years now. Again, please be reminded, that we are not a cult, as we are not teaching the same as the old group. Center of Light Christian Ministries is a new generation of worshippers and followers of the Lord Jesus Christ and no one else. It is our fervent prayer that someday, God will bring us there to Samal and refurbish the White House, so that it can be use for the glory of God. AMEN!

Hi renee ann abejuela – thanks for stopping by and for your comment.

From what I can gather the cult is still around but not that active. Though they own land on Samal they aren’t especially populated just there. I believe I read that Hawaii has a group that may be the largest.

I don’t see that the cult has caused any issue for anyone. Possibly there is more to be known. Their strong religious beliefs would seem to discourage any kind of trouble making.

Hi Ellen – it remains to be seen what happens with their land, but it sounds promising in regards to it not turning into more subdivisions. Not so sure about the agriculture part. I didn’t see anything to indicate that when I was there. I’d still like to know where those boundaries are. It must go down the hill?

It would be nice to have some hectares of land but even though that’s not what we ended up with I think we’ve got a good group of neighbors going in our area, from what I’ve seen so far.

Hi Randy, thanks for sharing this. 19 acres close to your property for agricultural use means you won’t have that many neighbours. And presumably, there will be lots of vegetables there for you. I think this is really good news for you.
