Holiday Oceanview Samal
Another development underway in IGaCoS is Holiday Oceanview Samal. Located at the very Northern tip of the island in Ilihan, Babak District, this 7 hectares development is the pioneer project of Holiday Properties, the real estate arm of Holiday Business Group. After a successful launch November 7, 2007, initial land development is now over 50% done.
The project consists of four parts: Holiday Oceanview Village (residential), Holiday Oceanview Townvillas (condos/townhouses), Holiday Oceanview Resort & Spa, and the Holiday Oceanview Marina.
The marina is of particular note, as it is the first of it’s type in the area and particularly on Samal Island. It is considered to be the “flagship” attraction of the complex. Though intended for the residents of Holiday Oceanview Samal, foreign visitors are also be welcome to use the marina. Wet berth rates are available for daily or monthly, as well as boatyard/dry-berth. Check their website for the most current rates.
The Holiday Oceanview Resort & Spa will be another major attraction to the marina residential development. The hotel plans to have world class services for those that wish to visit but not make HOS their home.
There are plenty of lots available yet, if it is your intention to live on Samal in such a unique community. Lots range in size from 192 square meter to 364 square meter. The cost depends upon location and range from Php 9000 per square meter to Php 18,000 per square meter.
The project is being completed in phases, but as of now the marina is open and you can certainly grab that desired lot for future residency. If you are are foreigner with designs on owning your own place, the condos may be well worth looking into.
